about the exhibition

The first Bulgarian participation in the Botanical Art Worldwide show will be with main focus on our domestic heritage, wild and ancient crops. We are pleased to present this theme as a continuation of our natural illustrators’ society (SAFSI) annual exhibition: “The Gifts of Earth” in 2023, which was exhibited in several locations already. We hope that our relatively young organization will contribute to the topic and raise awareness to the great variety of local crops in Bulgaria, some of them still not well known to the broad public. Also, we do have a world-renowned plants connected with our national customs in cuisine, medicine and cosmetics which might be interesting to foreign colleagues and public as well.
